Handheld X-ray Gun

The X4 Handheld X-Ray is built for modern dental practices that demand mobility, precision, and safety—all in one sleek device. Patient time spent in the chair and overall radiation output are drastically lowered due to the lightweight, precise imaging. The X4 delivers enhanced chairside diagnostic images and improves the patient experience with confidence.

iTero Scanner

A zero radiation, diagnostic tool that allows for patient education through treatment simulations and 3D digital impressions, replacing the uncomfortable traditional dental putty. The scan can be used for treatment planning, including Invisalign, Veneers, and other restorative dentistry. Copies of patient scans are available in the office and over email.

Laser Dentistry

Laser dentistry uses focused light beams (lasers) for precise, pain-free dental procedures. As we continue to expand our technology use, multiple lasers can be found in the office, each with a special purpose. At Sorrento Dental Care, we offer multiple services involving laser denstistry including laser cleanings, cold sore reduction, frenectomy/frenuloplasty, and much more. Reduced infection risk, faster healing, and less anxiety around pain are some of the many reasons we recommend laser dentistry.

Oral Cancer Screening

In our practice, we seek to provide you access to the newest and most effective scientific screening and treatment. Using the StarDental Indentafi device, we are able to detect early signs of cancer and dysplasia in the mouth. This radiation-free tool allows our office to effectively test for oral cancer in just under five minutes. Early detection of oral cancer is important to being able to provide early treatment and avoid problems that arise from late-stage detection.
